Our goal is for you to get to know our Pre-kindergarten through fifth grade programs, just as we use the application process to get to know your child. Please join us at one of our Pre-Admission Orientations to learn how Savannah Country Day offers the highest-quality learning experience to fully develop each child intellectually, physically, and ethically. ADMISSION ASSESSMENT VISITS
Country Day's Admission Assessment Visits provide applicants the experience of being part of Savannah Country Day School, and allow the admissions staff and faculty opportunities to know and appreciate the children applying for admission. During these visits, we will measure verbal, quantitative and figural reasoning skills that are most related to scholastic achievement.
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
December 8 January 12
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants are invited to the Savannah Country Day School campus for a small group visit. During this visit, in addition to interactive group play, each child will participate in one-on-one activities which will help us to learn about his or her developmental readiness. Please note: Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Admission Assessments begin promptly at 8:30. So that we may plan for your visit, please contact the Admissions Office. First through Fifth Grades

First through Fifth grade applicants are invited to the Savannah Country Day School campus for a small group visit. After their assessment, fourth and fifth grade applicants are invited to spend the afternoon at Country Day. In an effort to make your child's visit comfortable, a host or hostess is chosen to take him or her through classes in their current grade level. Students may bring their own lunch or be our guests for lunch on the day of their visit. Please note: First through Fifth grade Admission Assessments begin promptly at 8:15. So that we may plan for your visit, please contact the Admissions Office. We look forward to meeting your child.
Sixth through Eleventh Grades
January 16
We invite our Middle School and Upper School applicants to spend the day on our campus. Applicant's will be assessed in the morning and enjoy the afternoon experiencing a Savannah Country DAY. In an effort to make this visit comfortable, a host or hostess is chosen to take him or her through classes. The
Student Questionnaire will help us learn about the applicants interests, so we may organize this visit based on the subjects and co-curricular areas he or she is particularly interested in. Students may bring their own lunch or be our guests for lunch on the day of their visit. An interview with a Middle School or Upper School administrator will be part of this visit.
