Savannah Country Day School’s Libraries and Media Centers offer students from Lower through to Middle and Upper School a comprehensive Information Literacy curriculum to build the critical thinking skills vital to academic success and lifelong learning. The Dubose Media Center lays, and builds, the foundation for literacies both material (books and reading) and technologic (keyboarding and skills-gaming) for students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Charles Gay Library (CGL) intentionally builds upon these skills through continually elevating student’s exposure to appropriate materials and technologies from sixth through twelfth grades. Throughout, Librarians work with faculty to create enriching and effective content and programming to help ensure student success through SCDS and beyond.
