Ways to Give
Gifts of Cash

From year to year, the majority of gifts made the Savannah Country Day come in the form of cash. A gift of cash receives the most generous federal income tax deduction for charitable contributions. Cash gifts are accepted for any of Savannah Country Day's fundraising activities. For more information on lowering your taxes through charitable giving, please contact the SCDS Development Office.

Pledged Gifts

SCDS accepts pledged gifts for the Annual Fund, Capital Campaigns, and all school fundraising initiatives. Pledges to the Annual Fund must be paid in full by June 30th of each year. Capital pledges are normally paid over a five-year period. Online pledges are accepted. For more information on pledged gifts, please contact the SCDS Development Office.

Matching Gifts

Double or even triple the amount of your gift to SCDS!  Many companies offer programs that will match donations to SCDS by their employees, directors, employees' spouses, or retirees.  To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please click here.  If your company offers a matching gift, please fill out the company form and send it to:

Gifts of Stock

Savannah Country Day welcomes gifts of stock. For more information, please contact the Development Office.

Planned Giving

Planned giving is a way to contribute to Savannah Country Day using estate-planning vehicles. The Legacy Societies, The Pape Legacy Society and The Savannah Country Day Legacy Society, were created established to recognize the generosity of those who have given a planned gift or significant endowment gift to Savannah Country Day School.

The Pape and Country Day Legacy Societies honor all parents, alumni and friends who support Country Day’s mission through will commitments, life-income gifts, trusts, life insurance, retirement plans and outright gifts to the endowment. These donors understand the importance of a Savannah Country Day education and, through their membership in the Legacy Societies, they are ensuring the future of Savannah Country Day for many generations to come.

For more information, please contact the SCDS Development Office.
