|  | Shopping to Support Education at SCDSIf you are a Publix shopper, scan the purple Publix Partners Make a Difference card each time you visit any Publix grocery store. By simply scanning your Publix Partners card before making your purchase, Publix will donate a portion of your sale directly to SCDS. Key-chain size cards are available at the SCDS Main Office or contact the SCDS Development Office at 912.961.8824. Since the Publix Partners' program started, Publix has made a contribution each quarter since 1996 and has contributed over $48,000 to SCDS! And if you shop at Target, SCDS has most recently teamed up with Target's Take Charge of Education program. Target will donate to SCDS 1% of Target Visa Credit Card, Target Credit Card and Target Check Card purchases made at Target stores and Target.com, and .5% of Target Visa Cerdit Card purchases made everywhere else Visa credit cards are accepted. To designate SCDS on your existing REDcard, please click here or call 1-800-316-6142 and provide our school ID: 5401. To apply for a REDcard, please visit your nearest Target store or apply online. As of September 2008, Target has given SCDS over $3,500 dollars from the program. We want to see this number to continue to increase. Please take the opportunity to apply for the TargetRED Card and help support SCDS!
