Teddy Bears and Tea!
The teddy bear tea party is the culminating activity in the pre-kindergarten science unit of Real Bears. During the month of January, the pre-K students learned about the Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Polar Bear and Panda Bear. They studied their characteristics, their habitat and their diet, then completed art projects for each real bear and assembled them in a book. On Wednesday, January 25th, the students hosted a tea party for their personal teddy bear and the students discussed the difference between make believe and real bears.
Thank you to the wonderful volunteer parents who decorated the tables with beautiful centerpieces and provided the delicious fruit, cheese, scones, and petit fours.
