Lower School Learning Support
Savannah Country Day School is seeking a Learning Support Teacher to work full-time with students in the Lower School.  The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, with three (3) to five (5) years teaching experience.  Current teaching certification in special education, elementary education, or as a learning specialist preferred.  Orton-Gillingham certification strongly desired.  Learn more HERE.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor
Savannah Country Day School is seeking a teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL) to work full-time with students in our Lower and/or Middle Schools. Degree (BA/MA) in Teaching, English, ESL, TESOL or similar field, and experience working with English Language Learners required. Proficiency in or experience teaching Korean language preferred. CAMP MOON RIVER/ SUMMER CAMPS

Arts and Crafts Specialist (Camp Moon River at Savannah Country Day)
The Arts & Crafts Program Specialist will lead hands-on arts and crafts activities for kids, including but not limited to drawing, painting, weaving, sewing (pillows etc), latch hook, creative decorations and items, pottery, friendship bracelets and pins, tie-dye, and bringing the imagination to life. Campers will have the option to choose art as their weekly and/or daily choice. This person will also help support general camp activities, be in charge of a bunk, and help lead Moon River Madness (all-camp competition) when not in charge of a group for Arts & Crafts. Summer Camp Counselor (Camp Moon River at Savannah Country Day)
Camp Moon River Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper and have the opportunity to inspire, comfort, support, and lead by example. Counselors have the potential to be superheroes. Counselors are responsible for carrying out activities while guiding campers in their personal growth. Counselors should be interested in working with children and possess maturity, flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to have fun. Camp Counselor in Training and Junior Camp Counselor in Training (CIT / JCIT - Camp Moon River at Savannah Country Day)
Camp Moon River Junior CITs and CITs will assist Camp Counselors in all activities with the campers.   All J/CIT applicants should be interested in working with children and possess maturity, flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to have fun. J/CITs will be assigned to either a Program Specialist, a bunk of campers, or in some cases, both.  Being a CMR JCIT or CIT is an incredible leadership opportunity and a chance to develop skills that future employers will find valuable.  You will be able to translate your CMR experience to help you in almost any future endeavor. Sports and Games Specialist (Camp Moon River at Savannah Country Day)
The Sports and Games Specialist organizes and implements fun games and organized sports for Camp Moon River Campers of all ages and abilities. It is essential that this person be able to teach campers about being kind and supportive to fellow teammates and members of the other teams whether they win or lose. The Sports and Game Specialist will be expected to have multiple games at the ready whenever we have downtime or an activity block that calls for a game. This person will also help support general camp activities, be in charge of a bunk, and help lead Moon River Madness (all-camp competition) when not in charge of a group for Athletics. Summer Drama Program Specialist  (Camp Moon River at Savannah Country Day)
The Drama Specialist will organize and implement theater games and small productions for Camp Moon River Campers. The goals will be to inspire creativity, assist with ensemble/team building, help campers come out of their shell, develop focus, and teach improvisational skills. Drama will be available as a daily/weekly choice for campers. This person will also help be asked to be a bunk counselor when not leading and will support general camp activities when not leading a daily or weekly drama session.
