Upper School Counselor
Savannah Country Day school is seeking an Upper School Counselor to support the social and emotional well-being of 9th-12th grade students.  Candidates should have a Master's degree in Counseling, School Counseling, or related field, and a minimum of five (5) years' of experience as a counselor, preferably in the school setting.  Learn more HERE.  

Head Basketball Coach and Basketball Program Director

Strength & Conditioning/Assistant Football Coach

Savannah Country Day school is seeking an experienced individual to serve as Football Offensive Coordinator and Physical Education Teacher.  Additional responsibilities include coaching a winter or spring season sport.  Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education or a related field, with three (3) or more years experience coaching football at the high school level or above.  Learn more HERE.  

Lower School Learning Support Specialist
Savannah Country Day School is seeking a Learning Support Specialist for the Lower School for the 2024-2025 academic year.  Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or Learning Differences/Disabilities, as well as three (3) to five (5) years' teaching experience in Special Education or as a Learning Specialist.  Orton-Gillingham certification strongly preferred.  Learn more HERE.

Horizons Swim Coordinator
The Horizons Program at Savannah Country Day School is seeking a seasonal Swim Coordinator to lead swim instruction, testing, and coordinate the swim team/swim events throughout the summer.  Candidates should have a current Lifeguard Certification, CPR/First Aid Certification, and possess or have the ability to obtain Starfish Swim School Instructor Trainer Certification.   Learn more HERE.

Lower School Lead Teacher
Savannah Country Day School is seeking Lower School Teachers for the 2024-2025 academic year.  Lead Teachers are responsible for supporting and teaching their homeroom students, and work closely with their grade level colleagues to plan curriculum aligned to school standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, as well as experience teaching Lower School students in grades Pre-K through 5. Summer Camp Counselor (Camp Moon River at Savannah Country Day)
Camp Moon River Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper and have the opportunity to inspire comfort, support, and lead by example. Camp counselors have the potential to be superheroes. They carry out activities while guiding campers in their personal growth. To be a good camp counselor, one should be interested in working with children and possess maturity, flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to have fun. Summer Camp Counselor in Training and Junior Camp Counselor in Training (CIT / JCIT - Camp Moon River at Savannah Country Day)
Camp Moon River Junior CITs and CITs will assist Camp Counselors in all activities with the campers. Applicants for Junior CIT and CIT positions should be interested in working with children, possess maturity, flexibility, a strong work ethic, and, most importantly, the ability to have fun. J/CITs will be assigned to either a Program Specialist, a bunk of campers, or in some cases, both. Summer Sports and Games Specialist (Camp Moon River at Savannah Country Day)
The Sports and Games Specialist organizes and implements fun games and organized sports for Camp Moon River Campers of all ages and abilities. It is essential that this person be able to teach campers about being kind and supportive to fellow teammates and members of the other teams whether they win or lose. The Sports and Game Specialist will be expected to have multiple games at the ready whenever we have downtime or an activity block that calls for a game. This person will also help support general camp activities, be in charge of a bunk, and help lead Moon River Madness (all-camp competition) when not in charge of a group for Athletics. Summer Programs Coordinator (Camp Moon River at Savannah Country Day)
The Programs Coordinator helps to further the mission of Camp Moon River through the planning and delivery of excellent programs, activities, and events. The Program Coordinator will design, deliver, and schedule program activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate to the campers’ ages and abilities. This position will oversee all Program Specialists and assist in the overall management of camp operations at the direction of the camp director.
