Parents' Association
Welcome to the SCDS Parents’ Association (PA)! Our mission is to coordinate the parent volunteer programs in the Little, Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, to sponsor fundraising events that will generate funds for the enrichment of all Country Day students, as well as develop a closer relationship between the parents and the school. Membership includes all parents or guardians of students attending SCDS.
Our primary fundraising activities each year are The Party and the Country Fair. The Party is an adults-only evening where parents, faculty and staff can get together, socialize, and raise money to support PA programs. The Country Fair is a day of family fun geared toward the students with rides, games, great food and community-building.
In addition to our two primary events, the PA is responsible for overseeing all parent volunteer activity in the four divisions. Opportunities to volunteer are wide-ranging, from assisting with faculty appreciation events to helping maintain the uniform closet, to working in a booth at the Country Fair.
