Applicant Process

Country Day utilizes an online system, BlackBaud, for all steps of the application process, from registering for admissions events and admissions testing to submitting applications and teacher evaluations. 

Completing an inquiry online is the first step to learning more about Country Day. This allows our office to keep you updated and share some of the exciting things taking place around the Country Day community. We ask that all prospective families submit an inquiry prior to visiting campus.

The Little School (6 weeks - 4 years) Information Inquiry 

We encourage you to visit our campus and learn more about Country Day. We value the opportunity to connect with our prospective families, and we look forward to sharing some of the extraordinary advantages of a Country Day education. 

Savannah Country Day welcomes in-person campus visits. We invite you to schedule a private visit or register for one of our Prospective Parent Open House events. Student shadow opportunities are also available for prospective Middle and Upper School students after submitting an application.

If you are a current SCDS family, you can access the application by logging into the website, selecting "Resources" and "Apply".

After submitting your application, you will be able to access your child's "Applicant Checklist" within your portal. The applicant checklist indicates the supporting documents required, dependent upon your child's grade, and may include materials such as:

• Parent/Guardian Questionnaire

• Student Questionnaire 

• Principal/Counselor Evaluation

• English Teacher and Math Teacher Evaluation

• Current Transcript 

• Birth Certificate

*The Savannah Country Day School requires all students to be age-appropriately immunized with all the required vaccines BEFORE a student can attend school.

All applicants will complete an admissions assessment. In addition, Upper and Middle School applicants are required to complete a student interview with a faculty member. Registration for our scheduled assessment days has closed. Please contact Bradleigh Uthe at bradleighuthe@savcds.org to discuss alternate options.

If you are applying as an international student, please visit our INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT page. The application/assessment fee for international students is $400. For questions specific to this process,  please email Rob Curran, International Student Coordinator and ESL instructor.

Please note Country Day is now considering 24-25 applications on a rolling basis. Please contact the Office of Admissions regarding available space.

A separate application is required for financial aid. The financial aid application is due at the time of the admissions application. Financial aid is need-based, and funds are available on a first come, first served basis.  Click here for additional information.
