The Savannah Country Day School's financial aid mission is to assist qualified students in enrolling who could not otherwise afford to attend our school. Financial aid is need-based. A family's need is defined as the difference between tuition and a family's ability to pay these expenses. Factors considered in the evaluation of a financial aid application include family size, the number of children in tuition-paying schools, annual household expenses, and total income. 

Awards range from 5% to 50% of tuition for Lower School and 5% to 90% of tuition for Middle and Upper School. All financial aid is need-based.

Families must complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) in Clarity each year to determine their ability to contribute to educational expenses. Families who demonstrate financial need may be awarded a grant to reduce the amount paid at The Savannah Country Day School. 

Clarity opens on September 1 each year. The deadline to apply for the upcoming school year is December 1 for returning families and January 15 for prospective families. Please note that missing the financial aid deadline may result in a lower award or denial of financial aid. For prospective families, financial aid is available in first through twelfth grades and is communicated after an offer of admission.

A separate application is required for admission. The admissions deadline is January 19, 2027. Please visit our Apply Now webpage for more information.

Early Payment Discount Plan
Pre-pay the full amount by May 15, 2027, and receive a 2.0% discount.

Two Payments (Semester Plan)
60% of tuition is due on or before June 15, and the remaining tuition balance is due on or before November 15. (Tuition insurance is required with this plan.)

Ten Payments 
The 10-month payment plan.  Equal payments June 2027 - March 2028. (Tuition insurance is required with this plan.)

Every family, regardless of the Payment Plans Option selected, must set up an account with FACTS Management to enable paperless statements and online payments. All families must provide banking information for auto-drafts for tuition and incidentals.  Invoices for incidentals are sent at the beginning of each month with auto-draft completed at month's end to allow for your review in advance of payment.

The Georgia Promise Scholarship Act provides families with state-funded scholarships to be used toward a non-public education of their choice. For more details about the scholarship and how to apply, please visit the Georgia Promise Scholarship Website.  

The Jane Philbrick Merit Scholarship is a merit-based, four-year partial scholarship awarded periodically to a maximum of four ninth-grade students new to The Savannah Country Day School. The students must demonstrate a personal commitment to excellence inside the classroom and beyond.

To be considered for the 2027-2028 school year, interested students must submit a completed Jane Philbrick Merit Scholarship application by January 15, 2027. This is a separate application from the admissions application, which is also required. Students selected as finalists for the scholarship will be scheduled for an interview on Saturday, February 20, 2027. The winners will be notified no later than Tuesday, February 23, 2027. The application for the Philbrick Scholarship for the 27-28 school year will open on October 1, 2026.
