Alumni Association Board

Stefanie (Dasher) McCullough '07

Dear Fellow Hornets,

Serving as the Board of Alumni President, I am proud of what we have accomplished together and grateful for the dedication of our exceptional Alumni Association and Board of Alumni leadership. I am excited to reflect on the outstanding achievements of our alumni community over the past year.

Significant milestones marked the 2023-24 school year. Enrollment reached an all-time high, with 1,205 students on opening day. We proudly welcomed students into the expanded and renovated Minis Hall at the start of the year. Livingston Hall, the original building on our campus, was beautifully renovated and reopened after the new year. Additionally, the Cay Family Tennis Pavilion was completed, providing a new anchor for the tennis courts that have long been part of our campus, and T. Brown Field, our newly completed baseball field, hosted its first pitch during the home opener.

Our alumni community was exceptionally engaged. Over 250 alumni attended the cocktail reception on Homecoming Weekend in September. We also enjoyed strong attendance at the Hornet Home for the Holidays Alumni Oyster Roast and the Hornets in Savannah Alumni Happy Hour. The “Hornets Take Flight” tour visited Chicago, Dallas, Austin, and Houston, and we look forward to expanding these connections even further.

Our collective efforts have led to a significant milestone - a record-breaking alumni giving with a 17% participation rate. Special congratulations to the Class of 1968 for their remarkable 78.1% participation and to the Class of 1973 for their impressive 51.1%. Regardless of size, your contributions are deeply appreciated and make a difference.

A highlight of the year was welcoming back the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Recipient, Mylin Torres '94. Mylin's impressive accomplishments exemplify the spirit of this award, and we are proud to honor her contributions and success.

As we look towards the future, we remain committed to fostering excellence and building on our successes. We invite you to stay connected. Your continued involvement, whether it's attending events, sharing updates, or visiting the campus, is not just appreciated, but vital to our continued progress. Together, we can shape the future of our beloved school.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication. Here’s to the continued growth of our Hornet community. #AlwaysAHornet!

Please take a moment to meet the board.

Sincerely,
Stefanie (Dasher) McCullough '07
