Both teams did not run as well as they hoped to in the meet due to illness resulting in gutsy performances to place as well as they did.
The middle school cross country team hit the trails at Skidaway State Park for an impressive showing at the SPAL Championship meet.
The ALL team effort led the girls to a first place finish and the boys a second place finish, missing first by 1 point.
