Rise Up Ready JK!
Your little one is becoming a big kid and is getting ready for Junior Kindergarten. Would it be helpful to your child to get to know the JK environment before the school year begins? Through fun activities, art, and games, JK Rise Up campers will explore the JK classroom, learn routines, and expand their social and academic skills. We will focus on being an active listener, strengthening fine motor skills, exploring numbers and letters, taking turns, working together and solving problems independently- all in the Morris Early Childhood Learning Center in a Junior Kindergarten Classroom. Taught by current SCDS teacher Mrs. Liz Storey-Pitts, Rise Up Ready JK campers will have a wonderful opportunity to get a feel for JK life in a welcoming, fun, loving, small-group setting. The camp capacity is 8 campers.
