SCDS plays in a strong region (10 teams). Flag football is a new sport across the state. Our division is composed of A-4A schools plus three schools that are 6A and 7A due to geographic reasons. That makes the All-Area Awards extremely impressive since our girls were competing against much larger schools.
1st Team All Area
Sofia Pablo was selected to the 1st Team All Area which was comprised of 7 girls in the entire region. She had 431 rushing yards, 1470 passing yards, and 34 total TDs (27passing/7rushing). As a safety, she had 6 INTs.
2nd Team
Parker Hall and Eva Beachamp were selected for their offensive play. Eva was selected as a running back with 350 rushing yards, 453 receiving yards, and 9 TDs. Parker was selected as a wide receiver with 475 receiving yards and 8 TDs.
Honorable Mention
Anna Shelton was our leading defensive rusher with 21 sacks and a safety. She also played offense with 159 receiving yds (265 total) and 3 receiving TDs.
