The Hornets fought hard but ultimately fell to Richmond Hill in a close matchup, with the Varsity team losing 12-19.
Parker Hall led the offense with a receiving touchdown while also contributing on defense with 3 tackles and an interception. Reese Bailey added another receiving touchdown and made a big impact on defense with 6 tackles. Quarterback BG Baker threw both touchdowns, while Josefina Chiozza and Ana Miller anchored the defense with 4 tackles and an interception from Chiozza, and 6 tackles from Miller.
The JV Hornets secured a thrilling 7-0 victory over Richmond Hill.
Quarterback Isa Georgescu led the charge with a 13-yard rushing touchdown with an extra point in the second half, sealing the win with approximately one minute remaining. Georgescu also made 4 receptions for 24 yards and contributed 7 tackles on defense. Amirah Brahim’s beautiful interception in the last half helped the Hornets maintain their lead and close the game with a win.
