Congratulations to Janiyah Johnson, the recipient of the 2024 Dewitt Award, which honors the 8th-grade Athletes of the Year. Janiyah is the Private School Female Winner and a three-sport athlete who competes in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. In volleyball, she was the team leader in blocks and kills on a SPAL Championship team. Janiyah started on the JV basketball team as an 8th grader and was selected as the Team MVP. In spring, she won the SPAL championship in the shot put, discuss, and 100m dash. A huge congratulations to Janiyah and her family!
