Congratulations to our MS Clay Target Team on Winning the MS GA State Championship!  This is the first time SCDS has won the MS GA State Championship since our team was created in 2019.

 

The Mighty Hornets brought home the hardware by achieving a team score of 525/600 beating out twelve other MS teams across the state. Congratulations to our top three athletes who made up our team score as follows:

1. Archer Ritchie - 185/200

2. Caleb Vo - 174/200

3. Raj Kamaleson - 166/200

And a big congratulations to Archer Ritchie who finished as MS State Champion HOA Runner-up after a well fought shoot off.

 

On the Skeet fields, Vo shot a perfect 50/50, his first 50 straight in competition, to place 1st overall. Teammate Ritchie placed 2nd overall with a 47/50 after his winning his shootoff.

 

On the Trap fields, Ritchie finished 1st overall with a 45/50 after a three-way shootoff.

 

Lastly, on the Sporting Clays course, Ritchie placed second overall with a 93/100.
