With a few home meets already under their belt, the Varsity Track and Field team is continuing to grow. At the first meet, the girls finished top three in both the 800m and 1600m runs, thanks to Aarya Patel, Lily Barrow, Cindy Murray, and Ansley Pedigo. This, along with Amirah Brahim's 1st place in the long jump and Caroline Semone's 2nd place in the high jump, helped bring the girls to an overall 2nd place finish. On the boy's side, Charlie Pope finished 1st in the 800m and 1600m races. The boys placed 3rd in the 4x400m relay to bring them to 5th place overall. At the Alley Invite, Aarya Patel placed 3rd in the 1600m and Ansley Pedigo placed 3rd in the 800m. Back at home the next week, the girls team placed 2nd again, and the boys finished in a three-way tie for 5th.
