Endowment

SCDS policy for creating a named endowment fund requires a minimum gift of $100,000. Smaller gifts are of course welcomed and will be added to an appropriate previously established endowment fund or unrestricted endowment. Any person interested in establishing a permanent endowment fund, please contact Lynette Allison.

• Endowed Department or Program - $1,000,000

• Endowed Faculty Chair - $500,000

• Endowed Fund to Support Operations to the School - $250,000

• Endowed Fund to Support Faculty Enrichment - $100,000

• Endowed Fund to Support Student Scholarship- $100,000

• Endowed Fund to Support Academics/Arts/Athletics - $100,000

Endowed faculty funds provide the financial resources necessary to recognize and encourage excellence in teaching by funding professional development and assisting the School in recruiting and retaining the most qualified faculty to educate the students of today and tomorrow. Endowments to support specialized curriculum and programming or to maintain our campus.

Unrestricted gifts to endowment may be made at any gift level and will be directed to general endowment. Unrestricted endowment donations are preferred and enable us to direct funds where the School identifies the prioritized need.
