The Country Day Debate Team made a triumphant return after 30 years, competing in their first tournament on September 19th through the National Speech & Debate Association's Springboard platform. Led by Upper School faculty member Randall Martinez, the team finished undefeated with a 2-0 record, securing wins against Marist (GA) and Westlake (CA). Congratulations to debaters Coleman Huggins, Theo McGuirk, and Raphael Stanga for their outstanding performance! Their success marks an exciting new chapter for the school’s debate program, and we look forward to seeing them continue to shine in future competitions.
