Cultivating Global Relationships on Campus

Cultivating global relationships on campus! This week, we welcomed three teachers from Oaxaca, Mexico to our school to share some of their culture with our students. Upper School teachers Anna Sheridan and Kristin Mulzer facilitated the trip after visiting their school, Instituto Blaise Pascale, during Mini-mester in an effort to promote an exchange between our two schools. The teachers taught in classes among all divisions and subjects, including Lower School, Middle School and Upper School Spanish, Upper School art and ceramics, drama, world religions...and even yoga in second grade!

The three teachers who visited our campus are:
Chris Lockwood — teaches English Studies, Modern World History and Media studies to high school students. He also coordinated our trip to Mexico.
Toni Perez — teaches English Language teacher and is the Head of Arts and Cultural Activities.
Lili Alberto — teaches Theater and has an incredibly long resume of various arts activities and foundations she works with throughout the city of Oaxaca.
