Service Through Knowledge and Character

AP Psychology Students Gain Career Info via Zoom

In late September, Upper School AP Psychology students explored careers in the field by conducting virtual interviews with psychologists around the country. Students spoke with Dr. Kensa Gunter, Sport and Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Delishia Pittman, Associate Professor and Director of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at The George Washington University, Dr. Andrew Mantini, a Counseling Psychologist with Sprouting Minds in Charleston, and School Psychologist Ms. Ginny Warren.

Students asked questions ranging from research interests and educational paths to the typical workday and the impact of Covid on client work and relationships. Many thanks to these professionals for taking the time to engage with our students.
