The Middle School Math Team won the regional round of the national MATHCOUNTS competition Tuesday, February 21! Hornets Sowah Adjei '21, Owen Elkin '21, Landon Stone '21 and Cole Gensheimer '22 took first place and will advance to the state competition in Atlanta in March. Sowah Adjei was the first place individual at the competition with Owen Elkin taking home the second place trophy and Landon Stone winning fourth place individual. In addition to these four competitors, Jimmy Grove '22 placed seventh in the contest, Charles Harris '22 placed ninth, Cole Gensheimer and Robinson Norman '22 tied for tenth place, and Vaibhav Patel '21 filled out the team.
