The Savannah Country Day School

Service Through Knowledge and Character

Tuition & Financial Aid

Country Day recognizes that while our families view tuition as an important investment in their children's future, it is a stretch for many. The school is committed to supporting qualified students regardless of a family’s ability to pay the full cost of tuition. Country Day offers three payment plans as well as a robust need-based financial aid program.

List of 2 items.

  • Tuition Payment Plans

    Early Payment Discount Plan
A tuition discount of 1.5% is offered for complete payment of the year’s tuition on or before May 1.

    Two Payments (Semester Plan)
Two Payment Plan (One-half tuition due July 15, balance due December 1), no interest.

    Ten Payments
10 month payment plan managed by FACTS Management Company.

Limited need-based financial aid is available for Country Day families in JK-12th grades.
Students are accepted for admission and are notified of acceptance before financial aid is offered.
  • Financial Aid

The purpose of the financial aid program is to enroll qualified students who could not otherwise afford to attend, thus maximizing the strength of the student body.
On average, more than 20% of our students receive some level of financial aid, with an average grant ranging between $9,000-$12,000.
All financial aid awards are made on the basis of a family’s demonstrated need. Country Day follows the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Principals of Good Practice for financial aid. All requesting financial aid will adhere to the procedures of the School and Students Services (SSS) by NAIS. The Financial Aid Committee evaluates the results of the Parent Financial Statement (PFS) filed through SSS. The Committee then determines whether aid is granted and how much aid to grant. Country Day is not always able to meet the full demonstrated need as indicated on the Parent Report for all families. All information is confidential and limited to review by The Financial Aid Committee. Our financial aid application is separate from the admission application and is not a factor in admissions decisions.
