Little Hornet Basketball

We are thrilled to introduce Little Hornet basketball, our instructional basketball program for 1st–4th graders.  The Little Hornet basketball program will be open to all 1st–4th graders in the greater Savannah community.  
 
Instructional age and gender-matched clinics will meet on Saturday mornings beginning in December and continue until the first week in February.  Each week will consist of age appropriate drills, encouraging skill development. Stations will be designed to teach and reinforce basic basketball skills.  Small group games will be played, incorporating these skills while introducing rules and game concepts. All levels of players are welcome and participants will be grouped by ability levels. These sessions will be full of energy and enthusiasm for the game of basketball. 
 
The cost for our Little Hornets program will be $150 and will include a reversible Hornets jersey.  In addition to our Saturday morning sessions, we will also offer two optional afternoon clinics on January 13th and 20th.  The clinics will take place after school prior to our home Varsity games in Demere Gym.

Cancellation Policy

Parents may transfer or cancel up to 48 hours (2 days) prior to the first day of the Little Hornets Basketball Program for any reason.  The deadline to cancel is Thursday, 12/1/16 at 11:15 AM. A refund for the tuition will be given for cancelations that are requested prior to the deadline.   The ACTIVE fee of 5.95% is NOT refundable for any reason.  If you cancel, you will not get the ACTIVE fee back.
 
To cancel, you must email mnash@savcds.org no later than 12/1/16 at 11:15 AM
 
PLEASE NOTE: If the cancellation is received FEWER THAN 48 hours (2 days) in advance of the child’s first day there will be no refund.   There are no prorated amounts for partial participation.
Once a child begins the program, there will be no refund or credit for all or part of the program for any reason including:
•    if he/she is dismissed for violation of program or school policies
•    if he/she is dismissed because the director sites discipline issues or inappropriate behavior
•    if he/she is out sick for all/part of a program
•    if the parent chooses to have the child leave for all or part of the program
