Welcome to the alumni pages of the SCDS website! Whether you live nearby, across the country or on the other side of the world, as Savannah Country Day alumni you are cherished members of the Country Day community. With more than 4,000 Savannah Country Day School graduates and class associates, the SCDS network is ever-growing and expanding. These pages will help you keep in touch with old friends and perhaps even make some new ones who share your Country Day connection.
The alumni portal will provide you access to interactive, current information about all things Country Day. The portal will allow for easy and immediate contact information updates (employment, address, etc.) and serve as an important networking tool available to all SCDS alumni. Upon logging in, you may update your contact information, learn about upcoming events, submit class notes, stay in touch with any of your fellow alums, and much more.
We hope that these alumni pages will provide you the opportunity to reconnect with the alumni, classmates, friends, teachers, and staff that helped to shape your Country Day experience. Again, welcome and if you have any problems, please call me at (912) 961.8849 or email me at email@example.com.
Lisa McKinney, Director of Alumni Relations
"Country Day has taught me to give back. Every single one of us is here because someone has helped us here. Sure, we are intelligent, social, persistent, and (not including me) fantastic athletes, but ever one of us owes our great position to family, teachers, friends, and this school. Mr. DiBrita, you've taught me how to look classy. Mr. Aaron, thanks for letting me have my computer account back after getting caught, multiple times, playing Halo in the library. Mrs. Gussler, thanks for sending us to the hospitals to watch surgeries. Mr. Weber, thanks for letting us splatter you and the quad with water balloons...in the name of science, of course.
So when a classmate asks for help un-turtleshelling their bookbag, stop for a moment. When you receive that little yellow envelope in your mail in the future asking to contribute to the alumni annual fund (because we will definately be receiving plenty of those), take a moment to appreciate what this school has done for us and give back. Don't expect something in return. Just hope that whomever you helped will help someone else."
This is an excerpt from Noah Luskey's 2011 SCDS Valedictory Address.

Alumni Spotlight is proud to present, Meta Adler! A Savannah native with cooking in her veins, Adler graduated from Country Day in 2003, and went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied nutrition. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she returned to Savannah, with full intentions of pursuing medical school, when her love for cooking began to get the best of her. After a stint in catering, as well as having her own catering company, Adler opened up Dept. 7 East, a culinary love-letter to the flavors and sensibilities of Savannah and the Lowcountry region, with a modern twist.
