The Savannah Country Day School, Inc. developed this Website Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) to explain how the School uses and discloses personal information that is collected from people who visit the School’s website, https://www.savcds.org/ (“Website”). This Policy applies to information we collect on our Website and in an email, text, or other electronic message between you and our Website, as well information collected on our SCDS portal, which requires a username and password to access (“Web Portal”).

2. SCDS Use of Personal Information
SCDS may use Personal Information that we collect for the purposes of enrollment in classes or programs, event registration, donation processing, and to provide educational or other services to students and their families. We may also use Personal Information to determine eligibility for enrollment in the School, financial aid, employment, and other benefits, as well as to provide marketing communications, surveys, newsletters, and other types of information from SCDS.
On an as-needed basis, we may also use Personal Information to meet our business needs for items such as financial account management, payment processing, contract management, health and safety, systems administration, analytics, security and fraud prevention, corporate governance, and legal compliance.

a. Your Name, Phone Number and Address – When you visit our Website, we may ask for your name, phone number, email address, and/or street address and any other necessary contact information. If we collect this information, we may use it to contact you for the 2 reason that you provided it, such as to receive information about SCDS. To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of SCDS’ assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by SCDS about our Website users is among the assets transferred.
